Our health experts are skilled presenters. Some of the presentations are FREE to the community thanks to grant funding.

Getting Health Care

We’re all about helping you improve your health and well-being. In this workshop we’ll review your health insurance options and explain how to apply for health insurance, find primary care, have a strong relationship with your providers and get connected with local resources.

Eating in Color

Want to feel more confident making healthy food choices for you and your family? Please join us for a nutrition workshop where our team will share tips that support healthful eating, including how to color your plate, read food labels and more!

Preventing “The Big C”

If you have breasts or a cervix, you’ll want to learn how to protect yourself from these cancers. Join us to blow up the myths with facts and learn all about the preventive steps you can take to reduce your risk and live longer.

My Life, My Health -- Chronic Disease Self-Management Program

Are you an older adult with a chronic health condition like hypertension, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, lung disease, or diabetes? This program, developed by Stanford University, teaches practical skills to help you manage and live with chronic health problems. Invite your family members, friends and caregivers to join you. You’ll build self-confidence and take on an active role in managing your health.

Health Education Game Show

Come on down! You could be the winner of our next Health Education Game Show. It’s a fun way to learn about healthy behaviors, mental and behavioral health, substance use, addiction, nutrition, healthy aging and more. Everyone is a winner when they learn about these important topics.

Mental Health Awareness

Learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, how to respond to mental health crisis and the community resources for mental health and substance use. We also offer the national certification in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). Contact us to set up a MHFA training today.

Substance Use Prevention for Youth and Families

Looking for ways to talk about alcohol, marijuana, tobacco and other substances with youth and families? We have experienced prevention specialists who can answer your questions about substance use, current policies and ways to prevent and delay youth use.

TEASA

For high school teens in Everett, this community youth group learns about current substance use topics and provides peer education, develop leadership and advocacy skills, and acts as a voice for teens in Everett. Youth earn community service hours and connect with teens across the state on important issues around substance use, mental health and more! Find out more on our Youth Initiatives page.

We offer more than a table full of brochures, we have activities that engage people. Let us join your community event and support community health. We offer culturally appropriate educational materials, resources and activities all targeted at improving the well-being and health outcomes of local residents.
