Exceptional training programs at a Harvard and Tufts Teaching Hospital

Undergraduate Education

CHA plays an important role in education at Harvard Medical School and the Tufts University School of Medicine. This includes being home to the Harvard-Cambridge Integrated Clerkship (CIC). This longitudinal course for third year medical students lets students follow their “own” cohort of patients over time and different venues of care. This gives students meaningful and authentic responsibility for providing clinical care, with direct and personal faculty supervision in all core disciplines.

PA students from Boston University participate in a 6-month longitudinal clerkship in OB/GYN, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine. They engage in interprofessional educational activities with CIC students.

The CHA Pharmacy precepts 50 - 75 PharmD students each year from five local schools (Mass. College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Northeastern, Western New England University, University of Rhode Island, University of Connecticut).
