Knowing about breast and cervical cancer could save your life.
The Massachusetts Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (previously the Women’s Health Network) is here to help women, trans men and non-binary people learn more about these diseases. We can help low income people 40-64 years old with breast cancer services, and people 21-64 years old with cervical cancer services.
The program is designed to help you understand the benefits of early detection and find out where you can get screened. It is supported by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
If you haven’t been screened in a long time, talk with your provider to find out if you’re eligible for CHA’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
Breast and cervical cancers may not always cause symptoms, but there are screenings that can find them early. Both types of cancers are highly curable when found and treated early.
Remember:
Contact Isabel Haraguchi to find out if about gettign screened or see if you're eligible for fiancial assistance.
Our Patient Navigators understand your culture and often speak your language (some may use CHA interpreters). They work to schedule you for screenings quickly, and work with providers to make referrals. They can help you understand breast and cervical cancer and connect you with care.
