  • Meet the Patient Relations Team
    Aideen Snell, MSW, CPXP,
    Director of Patient Experience

    Aideen comes to CHA with over 20 years’ experience driving an improved patient experience of care. Earlier in her career she worked as a Social Worker with various populations, including patients with Traumatic Brain Injury and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder before moving into human resources and quality. She has extensive experience both living and working internationally. Aideen has a strong ability to build enriching collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization  - helping people work together towards a common goal. She is known for a data driven approach to improvement and identifying potential roadblocks. She is passionate about empowering and developing staff, advocating for a positive work culture and improving communication and efficiency to enhance the patient experience of care.


    Sonchyline Sterling, MHA,
    Patient Relations Consultant

    Sonchyline has been with CHA for five years and has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Some of her experiences include the Emergency Department, Inpatient ICU, Med Surg, and Telemetry. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Mental Health Counselor and a Medical Assistant. Sonchyline strongly believes in Health Equity, Advancing Racial Equity, and support for underserved communities.


    Kareen Alabre-Ribourg,
    Patient Relations Consultant/HRO

    Kareen is originally from Haiti and immigrated here in her early adult years. She has been at CHA over 15 years working in different capacities, primarily in community health and social services. She graduated from Northeastern University with  a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Services. She is a highly motivated and versatile public health professional with experience working with multicultural teams in both community and clinical settings. She is a tireless advocate for promoting human dignity, equality and rights.


    Maritza Velez,
    Patient Relations Consultant/HRO

    Maritza is a native Spanish speaker of latino heritage who grew up in Puerto Rico and attended college in Massachusetts. She has over 20 years experience advocating for individuals in different settings. Maritza has worked extensively with the elderly population in community based programs including Home Care, Group Adult Foster Care and Adult Foster Care. She also worked as an Assistant Program Director for the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program in Boston where in addition to her administrative duties, she was an Ombudsman for several facilities. Before coming to CHA she worked for Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital as a Patient and Family Relations Specialist.
