How CHA patients can get a flu shot

Flu Shots for CHA Primary Care Patients

Even though many people are worried about COVID, don't forget about the flu.

Getting a flu shot can protect you, your friends and your family from getting sick. Flu shots also help protect people at highest risk of getting serious flu-related illness. This includes people with chronic disease, older adults, pregnant women and young children.

Where to get a flu shot:

  • Call your CHA primary care center. They can make an appointment for you and your family members. Everyone over 6 months old can get a flu shot.

  • Call a CHA Teen Health center. For children and young adults age 12-22. By appointment only.
  • Walk-in flu shots for CHA patients at the CHA Vaccine Center or any CHA outpatient pharmacy.
    • Many other local pharmacies are also offering flu shots. Local pharmacies may require appointments and may have insurance and age limits. So it’s best to call first.
  • Attend a local flu clinic:
    • Cambridge: The city is offering several flu clinics this fall.
    • Other local cities: Please check with your local public health department for dates and times.
