Celebrating the Davis Family - Innovative, Compassionate, Impactful

Funds raised during the Art of Healing Gala help our patients navigate the systems of care that marginalize them everyday. Proceeds from the event allow us to provide outstanding health care services and also invest in the future through capital improvements, workforce development and meeting the clinical needs of our patient population through innovation.

    About the Davis Family

Since 2006, the Davis Family has invested in communities and social sector organizations that expand access to education, build skills, nurture talent, and address critical needs for housing, equitable health care, and other support services. At the heart of their grantmaking is a deep concern for issues of equity and opening pathways to opportunity, especially for underserved children and youth whose talents and potential too often go unrealized. For future generations, they are committed to protecting the environment through climate change mitigation, and conservation and restoration of natural habitats.

Increasingly, the Davis family works with social sector leaders, recipients of services, and funders to focus on root causes and make investments in prevention, early intervention, and policy advocacy to make a lasting difference. They recognize the need to remain agile and responsive in a rapidly changing world. They aspire to be effective and focused in their philanthropic work, specifically in how to allocate and leverage finite resources to change the trajectories of people who have been marginalized and who struggle to provide for themselves and their families. They invite others to join them on this journey and look forward to tackling the work with partners.

"We are proud to call the Boston area our home. As a family, we feel deeply privileged to be able to support the communities of which we are a part."

Thank you to our sponsors and "movers" who helped raise almost $17,000 to expand imagination and learning.

Move for Books supports Project Read, CHA’s childhood literacy program. Your gifts allow CHA to give a new book to over 30,000 CHA pediatric patients.

Congratulations to this year's event winners -- Christopher Simons, MD and Robert Turri Vise -- the two highest contributors. The event is complete, but you can still donate to make a difference.
