New mural transforms CHA Somerville Campus outdoor space
New addition of vibrant painting unveiled.
The CHA Somerville Campus’ Child, Adolescent, and NDU inpatient units recently had a mural created for their outdoor space by volunteer Ammy Gonzalez Rivera, with some support from some other Mass Art Students. The Levitate Foundation has awarded a grant to fund the volunteer project. The mural was created this summer during some grueling heat. Ammy designed and executed the mural with beautiful results. The outdoor space is now a brighter, more engaging and inviting space to visit.
