What We Do
Infectious disease doctors are experts in illnesses caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi, and those passed from person to person. We help make a diagnosis by getting a detailed patient history and doing a physical exam. Sometimes tests such as laboratory work or x-rays are needed to help identify or rule out certain health conditions.
