The CHA Windsor Street Care Center has what you need. Our Primary Care experts see people of all ages to help you, and your family, live your healthiest lives. We also offer Women's Health services and are home to CHA Dental Services.

When you join us, you get a whole team that works together to keep you and your family healthy.

  • Parking, Public Transportation, Shuttle Service

    Parking:

    Patients may park in the lot attached to the clinic. If this lot is full, there are other options available:

    Street Parking:
    1. Windsor St. - between School St and Main St (1 hour metered spaces)
    2. Main St. - 2 hour metered spaces
    3. Bishop Allen Dr. - between School St and Main St there are 2 hour metered spaces 

    Public Lot:
    4. Bishop Allen Dr. - between Columbia St and Douglass St. You can park for 4 hours maximum

    Public Transportation:

    Bus: 1, 6491

    Train: Red Line, Central Square or Kendall, then a 10-15 minute walk or a short bus ride.

    Shuttle Service:

    CHA offers a shuttle between Cambridge Hospital, the Somerville Campus and other CHA locations.

  • Using eCheck-in Before Your Visit

    If you have a MyCHArt account, you can now use eCheck-in to review and update your information before you come for an in-person visit.

    Your visit will be safer, and you can save time at the registration window when you arrive!

  • COVID Guidelines
    Who can come with you or visit you in the hospital?

    Patients coming for a clinic visit, to Urgent care or to the Emergency Department are allowed to bring at least one person with them. Additional people will be at the discretion of the provider and clinic.

  • Get an interpreter?

    If you prefer to speak another language during your visit: 

    Please tell your care team before your next visit. Our interpreter services team can help.

    Please note, there is no charge for this service. 

  • Get a health screening or check-up?

    Your primary care or specialty team knows when you are due for routine tests, immunizations and health screenings.

    Just ask them what you need and when.

    MyCHArt is a safe and secure system that lets you see and manage your health care from a computer or smart phone.

    You can ask questions, request appointments, refill medications and review lab results.

  • Get refills?

    For the best service, just call your pharmacy to get your prescription refilled.

    Please don’t wait until your medication is gone before calling. However, if you do run out, please tell the pharmacist. They may be able to give you some medication until your refill has been approved.

  • Get a referral?

    Please talk to your care team. They can help you find the right doctor or service for your medical needs.

    We hope you see a doctor in our network. This will let us share medical information and support your care.

  • Get help when I feel sick?

    Same day virtual visits when you feel sick.

    You can schedule a same-day or next-day Virtual Sick Visit through MyChart for certain symptoms. Just log into MyChart and click the Visits button. This will let you schedule a video appointment for things like cough, headache, COVID-19, back pain, vaginal itch or discharge, painful urination, and more. If you have a symptom not included on the self-booking list, please call your primary care office. You’ll be connected to our Nurse Advice Center who can help you get the care you need.

    At the time of your video appointment, you’ll get a link by text and email. Just click on the link and log in using the camera on your phone or computer. Depending on your needs, we can provide medical advice, prescribe medicines, and set up a follow-up visit. Get the medical care you need from CHA without having to leave your home! 

    If you have an urgent medical need (not an emergency):

    Please visit CHA Somerville Campus Urgent Care at 33 Tower Street, Somerville.

    If you are having a health emergency:

    Call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.

    You can find 24 hour care with short wait times at CHA Cambridge Hospital and CHA Everett Hospital. When you go to a CHA emergency room, your CHA doctor will be notified about your health needs and can help coordinate your care.

    There may be a cost for copies - If you want copies, we will charge a reasonable fee for them. We will also charge you for postage costs, if you want us to mail the copies to you.
