Posted Date: 5/7/2014
CHA Project READ

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) pediatric patients and their families celebrated Project READ’s 15th birthday at a celebration at CHA’s Cambridge Hospital campus. Seven children’s book authors, including CHA’s Creative Director Chris Censullo, met with the children and signed copies of their books for the kids to take home. Special guest Curious George danced with the children to music performed by local jazz band Never Say Never, featuring CHA school nurse Tracy Rose Tynes.

CHA Project READProject READ (Read Each And Every Day) is an initiative of the Cambridge Health Alliance Department of Pediatrics that promotes childhood literacy in a medical setting. Families receive new books and guidance about the importance of reading at every child well visit. Over the years, Project READ has donated more than 200,000 books to CHA’s pediatric patients.
